Once The Offer Has Been Accepted

  • Order homes inspection & termite inspection
  • Order septic & well inspection (if applicable)
  • Negotiate repairs, as needed
  • Refrain from purchase that can affect credit score
  • Submit all loan documents required by lender
  • Obtain home insurance
  • Anticipate possible closing delays (at closing date is target and frequently moves a little bit as the date draws near)
  • Get utilities and cable activated for move-in date
  • Do final walk-through before closing
  • Review Consumer Disclosure(CD)
  • Obtain cashiers check for the final closing cost (payable to title company) or wire transfer
  • Bring personal check and driver's license
